IDEAS NCBR Sp. z o.o. is a research and development centre operating in the field of artificial intelligence and digital economy, whose mission is to support the development of these technologies in Poland by creating a platform that connects the academic and business environments.

IDEAS NCBR Sp. z o.o. is a part of the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR Group). Our goal is to build in Poland the largest, friendly to conduct innovative research platform, to educate a new generation of scientists focused on the practical application of the developed algorithms and their subsequent commercialization in the industry, finance, medicine and other branches of the economy.

At IDEAS NCBR, we are constantly on the lookout for new talent. If you are a student or graduate of Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline and would like to pursue a career in research, then share your plans with us by applying for this position. As a team member, you will have the opportunity to work with many authorities in the field of artificial intelligence in the team led by Dr. Przemyslaw Musialski, Assoc. Prof.

With expertise in diverse areas such as geometric modeling, geometry processing, computational fabrication, and machine learning, we strive to create algorithmic solutions for digital content generation. Our research efforts are dedicated to revolutionizing content creation, geometry generation, realistic rendering, and physical simulations in applications ranging from computer games and movie productions to virtual reality and 3D design.

As a part of our group, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects, publish in top-tier conferences and journals, and collaborate with a diverse team of experts.

The research group focuses on advancing the fields of generative modeling in computer graphics. This position offers a unique opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research in these areas, with applications ranging from content creation in computer games and movie productions to virtual reality and 3D design. It aims also to push the boundaries of generative modeling in computer graphics, with the goal of enhancing content creation and improving geometry generation processes. By exploring novel techniques, methodologies, and architectures, the research will focus on advancing the realism, diversity, and efficiency of geometric models and generative systems.

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will carry out research and development work related to issues such as:

  • conduct research in geometric modeling, exploring techniques for efficient representation, manipulation, and analysis of complex 2D and 3D shapes;
  • develop novel generative modeling architectures and approaches to enhance geometry generation, enabling realistic and diverse content creation for computer games, movie productions, virtual reality, and 3D design applications;
  • investigate techniques for capturing and transferring specific artistic styles or design characteristics in generative models, allowing for more targeted and controllable content generation;
  • explore methods for real-time or interactive geometry generation suitable for integration into computer graphics pipelines, enabling seamless integration with rendering engines and interactive applications;
  • collaborate with a team of researchers, working on interdisciplinary projects at the forefront of computer graphics, machine learning, and creative technologies;
  • publish research findings in reputable conferences and journals, contributing to the academic community and advancing the state-of-the-art in geometric modeling and generative modeling;
  • mentor and collaborate with Ph.D. students, providing guidance and support in their research endeavors;
  • participate in the development of grant proposals and engage in collaborative efforts with industry partners and academic institutions.
